What's in my diaper bag? And tips on how to Organise it

So, I like my diaper bag to be AS organised as possible so that a) I have everything and b) I know exactly where it is. Splitting the bag into pockets / sections makes this possible:

Section 1: Items of Clothing

  • Extra clothes in case of any major spillages (x2 vests, x2 baby grows, socks)
  • A cardigan in case the weather turns, or the AC is too strong
  • Baby hat (if newborn) because they can easily fall off
  • Muslin Cloth
  • Extra Bib
  • Baby Blanket

Section 2: Baby Changing (find many of these products in our Newborn Essentials List)

  • Extra Nappies (always have at least 2)
  • Wipes (both cleaning, for surfaces if you have to change your baby or want to sanitise, and wipes for baby changing)
  • Mini Baby soap
  • Mini Nappy rash cream
  • Portable Changing Matt
  • Nappy Sacks

Section 3: Feeding

  • Baby Bottles
  • Extra Teat in case yours falls on the floor and you aren't able to sanitise
  • Formula inside a Formula Dispenser
  • Mini Flask (with sterilised water, or to use for hearing a bottle on the go)

Section 4: Play

  • Baby Rattle or Soft Toy

Section 5: Safety & Care

  • Baby Sunblock
  • Plasters
  • Insect Repellent
  • Foldable Sun Hat

Section 6: Toddler (if applicable)

  • Snack
  • Portable Toilet Seat
  • Water Bottle
